Covid Travel Information

We highly recommend that you check the travel restrictions for your country before booking flights or hotels.

The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all air passengers arriving to the US from a foreign country get a COVID test no more than 3 days before their flight departs and present a negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. If you are fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized vaccine or a vaccine authorised for emergency use by the World Health Organisation, you should also get a viral test 3 to 5 days after travel. Unvaccinated people should get tested with a viral test 3 to 5 days after travel and self-quarantine for a full 7 days after travel. Those who have recovered from a documented COVID-19 infection within the last 3 months, should follow all requirements and recommendations for fully vaccinated travellers, except you are not required to get a test 3 to 5 days after travel unless you are symptomatic. In addition, everyone should follow all state and local guidelines. More details are on the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention website.

Safety Guide

The ISF, NGB, staff and organiser will do everything possible to protect riders. However, nobody can guarantee your safety from Covid. Therefore, you should only travel if you are not at high risk or endangering those around you that maybe considered high risk. Additionally, you MUST NOT attend if you have or are showing symptoms of covid.

You will be required to follow the laws of the country the competitions are in. These will be displayed here 2 weeks prior to the event.

Protect yourself

  • Maintain a distance between you and others as much as possible (approx 6 feet / 2 meters).
  • Avoid contact with anyone who is sick or showing symptoms.
  • Limit contact with frequently touched surfaces, such as handrails, elevator buttons and kiosks.
  • Wear a face mask wherever possible.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Clean your hands often. It’s especially important after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose.
  • Refrain from eating or drinking on public transportation. That way you can keep your mask on the whole time.
