About the Event

 

The ISF European Scooter Open will be hosted at Urban Street Zone on 2nd and 3rd Oct. A full schedule of activity will be posted in due course.

EVENT SCHEDULE


A skatepark entry fee is required for all riders. The ISF registration fee is required for all riders participating in competitions and is additional to the skatepark entry. Rider registration for the championships will now end on Friday 1st at 2pm.

 

FRIDAY

Skatepark open for practice

 

SATURDAY

10am to 11pm – Open park
11pm to 11.30pm – Junior Practice
11.30pm to 12.30pm – Junior Competition (top 10 proceed to final on Sun)

CHANGE OF SCHEDULE

2pm – 3pm Open Park
3pm to 3.30pm – Pro Male Practice
3.30pm to 5.30pm – Pro Male Comp (top 15 proceed to final on Sun)
5.30pm to 5.45pm – Pro Female Practice
5.45pm to 6.30pm – Pro Female Comp (top 5 proceed to final on Sun)
6.30pm to close – open park

 

SUNDAY

10am to 12pm – Open Park
12pm to 1pm – Finalist only practice
1pm to 1.15pm – Junior only practice
1.15pm to 1.45pm – Junior finals (top 5 qualify for world finals)
2pm to 2.15pm – Female only practice
2.15pm to 2.45pm – Female finals (top 5 qualify for world finals)
3pm to 3.30pm – Male practice only
3.30pm to 4.30pm – Male finals (All 15 qualify for world finals)
4.30pm to close – Open park

FILMING | DOCUMENTARY

DOCUMENTARY ON VIAPLAY

The ISF are working with partners to produce multiple documentaries promoting many different aspects of scooter riding. The first main part will be a documentary covering the European Scooter Championships, featuring interviews with riders. The documentries will be aired on Viaplay, with futher opportunities to be distributed worldwide.

The european documentry is to promote all aspects of scootering; from the positive values scooter riding has on young people, to Youth Sport Development, the rise of scooter riding and its aim of reaching the Olympics. It is to target a mainstream audience and introduce new riders into our incredible sport.

OFFICIAL QUALIFICATION COMPETITIONS

There will be ISF competitions for Pro Male | Pro Female | Junior.

SKATEPARK OVERVIEW

This awesome skatepark is 2355 sqm of full birch wood ramps. USZ is a great skatepark which has hosted the Danish National Championships and other large competitions. This park has ledges, rails, banks, hips, hubba, quarter and halfpipes, speed bumps to get plenty of speed for world class tricks. Additionally, the owners of Urban Street Zone are building additional ramps specifically for the European Scooter Open.

COVID INFORMATION

We highly recommend that you check the travel restrictions for your country before booking flights. We also recommend having refundable hotels and flights. Travel to Denmark for many European countries is Green or Amber.

For those that have been vaccinated, you may only require proof of vaccination depending on the country you are traveling from. If you have not been vaccinated, then you may require PCR tests and to self-isolate.

Safety Guide

The ISF, NGB, staff and organiser will do everything possible to protect riders. However, nobody can guarantee your safety from Covid. Therefore, you should only travel if you are not at high risk or endangering those around you that maybe considered high risk. Additionally, you MUST NOT attend if you have or are showing symptoms of covid.

Protect yourself

  • Maintain a distance between you and others as much as possible (approx 6 feet / 2 meters).
  • Avoid contact with anyone who is sick or showing symptoms.
  • Limit contact with frequently touched surfaces, such as handrails, elevator buttons and kiosks.
  • Wear a face mask wherever possible.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Clean your hands often. It’s especially important after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose.
  • Refrain from eating or drinking on public transportation. That way you can keep your mask on the whole time.
